Flannels unveils “league of its own” new Leeds flagship

Frasers Group-owned Flannels has today opened a 70,000 sq ft flagship store at 115-126 Briggate in Leeds, in what is the former Debenhams site.

Set over six floors, it is the sixth Flannels flagship to open, joining London, Liverpool, Leicester, Sheffield and Newcastle, as the retailer “redefines the next generation of luxury retail”.

David Epstein, Managing Director of Premium and Luxury at Frasers Group, said: “We’re proud of this one. Flannels Leeds represents one of our boldest and most disruptive flagships to date, redefining the experience for the savvy luxury consumer in this region.

“With over six floors of exceptional experiences and innovations, created with our best-in-class brand partners, this investment is a testament to the group’s steadfast commitment to luxury.

“Consumers will find everything from luxury womenswear and menswear to personal shopping, home, beauty, active, as well as gym and café concepts. What we’ve built here is in a league of its own. We can’t wait for you to see it.”

On entering the store, shoppers are met with a “super-luxe accessories and beauty haven” on the ground floor. The Luxury Accessories Hall offers a curation of the most covetable pieces of the season from the likes of Gucci, Saint Laurent, Prada and Bottega Veneta.

The Beauty Hall boasts fragrance favourites from Creed, Bvlgari and Guerlain La Matiére, as well as the Dior Prestige range. At the heart of the space, the Beauty Bar will play host to a line-up of brand takeovers throughout the year – starting with Prada Beauty.

The retailer’s Beauty Changing Room allows shoppers to try a vast range of cult and haute beauty products in privacy. Customers can also top up on beauty tips and trends from experts in “masterclasses” and 1-2-1 appointments.

Across the upper levels of the store, womenswear and menswear edits range from “mega-luxury streetwear” brands to premium and contemporary favourites. Standout brands include Cole Buxton, Fear of God Essentials, Anine Bing, Represent, Jacquemus and Casablanca.

There’s also the “hottest picks” for AW24 from the likes of Miu Miu, Gucci, Fendi, Bottega Veneta, Moncler, Christian Louboutin, Canada Goose and Stone Island.

Having launched as luxury resale pop-ups across other Flannels flagships to big success, Sellier also joins the in-store roster as a permanent fixture.

Additionally, the Leeds flagship has an expansive personal shopping suite, along with personal shoppers to help with “any fashion needs and wants”, and a new ins-store tailoring concept offers “elevated tailored looks for every occasion” from the likes of Tom Ford, Brioni and Hugo Boss, among other top names.

Flannels Junior rounds out the store’s fashion offering, bringing the world of luxury fashion “to the next generation” with brands including Gucci, Burberry, Givenchy and Canada Goose.

In the basement of the store sits Flannels Active, a growing category which features in demand performance brands which bridge the gap between the worlds of luxury and sport, including 247 by Represent, On, Lululemon and Nike.

For the latest “hype sneaker releases”, the Sneakerboy area serves up a taste of the hottest streetwear picks, from Asics collaborations to Adidas and Salamon silhouettes.
