Johnstons of Elgin opens new store in Mayfair’s Burlington Arcade
Scottish cashmere brand Johnstons of Elgin has opened a new store in Burlington Arcade, 51 Piccadilly, in the heart of London’s Mayfair.
Spread over three floors, the store is showcasing the finest Scottish craftsmanship including a hand-carved timber and stone table by sculptor Oliver Spendley on the ground floor to display accessories.
On the first floor, a dressing room has a bespoke rug by Scottish rugmaker Turnberry, woven with Johnstons of Elgin’s recycled cashmere fibre. Peppered throughout the store, customers can discover other hand-crafted Scottish furniture, accessories, and ceramics, along with the brand’s AW24 ready-to-wear collection and homeware.
Oscar MacDonald, Chief Commercial Officer at Johnstons of Elgin, said: “Burlington Arcade is one of the jewels of Mayfair, curating brands that celebrate the very best of British craftsmanship today.
“For over a century, it has been the home of cashmere in London – the ultimate destination for the discerning customer seeking to discover the very best of our craft.”
Trupti Shah, Commercial Director at Burlington Arcade, added: “Since 1819, Burlington Arcade has been a destination of refinement for those who appreciate the finest in British craftsmanship, and Johnstons of Elgin’s presence is a natural extension of that legacy.
“Known for their exceptional Scottish artistry and proudly holding a Royal Warrant since 2013, Johnstons perfectly complements our curated collection of brands, where tradition and modern luxury intersect.
