Ashish launches first DTC website with archive styles and exclusives
London-based fashion label Ashish has today launched its first ever direct-to-consumer (DTC) website, with re-issues from its over 20-year archive and exclusives not available anywhere else.
Designer Ashish Gupta is known for blending glamour with craftsmanship, as well his penchant for sequin embroidery and eccentric juxtapositions of prints. He has dressed high profile personalities including Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry.
After celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2023 with a retrospective at the William Morris Gallery, the brand now feels the time is right to expand its online presence, having previously sold through Matches and currently stocked by Annie’s Ibiza.
Carefully selected by Gupta himself, the website has launched with a 24-piece product offering including some of his favourite pieces from AW24 – customised for website exclusives and offering a new and refreshed look, featuring knitwear, statement dresses and colourful two pieces.
Some of the standout items include a ‘Sunflower Long Bias Dress’ at £2,990, a sequinned ‘Long Sleeved Short Dress’ at £1,540, a ‘World Peace Sweater Dress’ at £805, and a ‘Sequin Tartan Mini Skirt’ at £1,048.
The website also features six re-issues in limited editions of Ashish’s iconic shopper bags from SS14, and there will be in-season drops with limited product runs.
Ashish Gupta said: “I’m excited to finally connect to my community directly for the first time and allow opportunity to snap up my favourite pieces from each season, along with limited edition custom styles from the archives and exclusives.”
