Crisis pop-up to return to Savile Row with designer pieces and celebrity donations
Crisis, the charity that tackles homelessness in the UK, is returning to Savile Row for the fourth year running with a Christmas pop-up packed with one-off designer pieces and items donated by celebrities.
Hosted by developer Henigman at the decommissioned West End Central police station at 27 Savile Row, the pop-up will run from 4-14 December and sell “an exclusive vignette of hand-picked items personally donated from celebrity friends of Crisis”.
This includes items from Kate Moss, Stormzy, David Gandy and Aisling Bea, as well as designer pieces from brands such as Vivienne Westwood, Wales Bonner, Burberry, Richard James and Anderson & Sheppard.
The selection of menswear, womenswear, gifts and accessories is being curated by Anda Rowland, Director of Savile Row tailors Anderson & Sheppard, and renowned British fashion editor and celebrity stylist Tom Stubbs, supported by Georgina Evans, Head of Retail at Crisis.
It promises to be a “treasure trove” of brand new designer items, past-season stock, imperfect pieces and seasonal sample collections from luxury brands – all being sold to raise vital funds for the charity at this crucial time of year.
There will also be a calendar of Christmas events including ‘shop their wardrobe’, focusing on the items donated by the celebrities, and a late night shopping evening with drinks and music by DJ Jonjo Jury, culminating in the annual raffle competition which includes the “cream of the crop” of donated items.
Dean Main, CEO of Henigman Limited, said: “We are delighted to be once again partnering with Crisis through hosting the Christmas Crisis Pop-Up at the former West End Central Police Station at 27 Savile Row. Last year’s pop-up raised an incredible £110k and the hope is that this year we will exceed this figure.”
Jenny Casebourne, Head of Portfolio at London landlord The Pollen Estate, added: “The Pollen Estate is a proud supporter of Crisis and their vital work to help people experiencing homelessness. We are delighted that the sartorial charity pop-up experience is returning once again to Savile Row, London’s iconic destination renowned for bespoke tailoring.
“Many of the Savile Row tailors and other local brands are donating to this important cause and we are proud of our vibrant local community that is contributing to wider society supporting Crisis’ work in ending homelessness for good.”
