‘He’s P**sing Off Voters’ – Biden’s Campaign Gets Brutal Reality Check From CNN

A CNN host had a direct message for President Joe Biden as he warned him that he is risking offending voters.

It happened after CNN anchor Erin Burnett interviewed the president where The New York Post counted he told 15 lies, or one lie per minute.

The chief lie among them was his claim that he had “already turned [the economy] around” and that “the polling data has been wrong.”

CNN host John King took exception to the president’s claims and said he risked offending voters with that message.

CNN anchor Jake Tapper spoke to King for his “reaction to President Biden’s economic pitch there.”

King said that Biden was “right on the numbers about the economic turnaround, but he is on very dangerous ground.”

“I would say he risks offending, forgive my language, I would say he risked p***ing off some of the voters I’ve talked to in my travels over the last six or seven months because they don’t feel it,” he said.

“And so when he said at the top of that, ‘we have turned it around,’ and he said in the middle of that, ‘the polls are wrong,’ — trust me from my travels, we have a vote, a group in Milwaukee just north of where the president was today. And when we visited, then there used to be a lot of factories in their neighborhood. Those factories are gone,” he said.

The host said that in Wisconsin, an important swing state in the 2024 presidential election, that voters “talk a lot about the cost of living and the cost of groceries.”

“Just last week, I was in Michigan talking to auto workers, auto workers who are prepared to vote for President Biden,” he said.

“They believe he’s the most pro-union president. But even they seem beleaguered when they talk about the cost of groceries and how hard it is, and they can’t move out of their house because they want to upgrade, but they can’t afford a newer house, a bigger house right now because of mortgage rates,” the host said.

“So the statistics back up the president’s argument that economy is much better and is growing and is strong, the strongest in the world. He is correct. However, voters don’t feel that way, and voters don’t like being told they’re wrong,” he said.
