In Pictures: Phase Eight celebrates 45 years of partywear with ‘most elevated’ collection to date

Phase Eight, which was founded in South West London in 1979, is celebrating 45 years of producing women’s partywear with its “most elevated party collection” to date – launching on 15 October 2024.

Contemporary separates and versatile pieces in velvets, sequins and faux leather complement the fashion brand’s signature party dress edit as the build up to the Christmas party season gains momentum.

Alongside premium Collection 8 styles, designed for glamorous black tie events and those “most special moments”, this season Phase Eight also welcomes a capsule collection of limited-edition pieces that takes inspiration from the 1960s, with styles such as the ‘Dolly’ fringe sequin jacket and skirt, available in both ivory and black.

Sally Piasecki, Product Director at Phase Eight, said: “This season, to mark our 45th year, we wanted to champion what we do best – standout partywear. Our product teams have worked hard to curate a collection of exceptional partywear styles.”

Caraline Money, Group Retail Director at Phase Eight, added: “Party season is always such a special time of year for us in stores, our teams thrive off working with customers to build their individual perfect looks for this time of year. We are also delighted to be offering petite partywear in more stores than ever before.”

The new partywear collection will be available in Phase Eight’s 52 standalone stores across the UK, including its new stores that opened in 2024 at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol, Braehead in Glasgow, Kingston, Edinburgh, Bluewater and Bury St Edmunds.

The collection will also be available in stores opening soon, including Phase Eight’s first-ever Republic of Ireland store in Blanchardstown, Dublin, and its third German store in Hamburg, opening this month.
