Lions Automobilia Foundation & Museum Celebrates Year-End Events and Exciting Plans for 2025

The Lions Automobilia Foundation and Museum is gearing up for an action-packed close to 2024 with a series of unique events that celebrate Southern California’s rich automotive history and community spirit. As the year winds down, the Foundation is thrilled to announce three major gatherings that promise to bring together car enthusiasts, families, and the local community, followed by an exciting 2025 lineup that will kick off with the highly anticipated 3 Museums Couple Cruise in February.

Custom Celebration Car Show – October 19, 2024
The Custom Celebration Car Show, presented in collaboration with Cambra Speed Shop and the Mercifuls So. Cal Car Club, invites custom car owners and enthusiasts alike for a day of family fun at the Lions Automobilia Foundation and Museum. Attendees are encouraged to bring their custom rides and enjoy a full day of activities that will feature the best of Southern California’s custom car culture. Car show participants can register by clicking on the event flyer, while general admission tickets are available online.

All American Truck Show & Veteran Coat Drive – November 9, 2024
Join the Lions Automobilia Foundation for the All American Truck Show and Veteran Coat Drive, hosted by Pickups Limited. This event will showcase classic American trucks and offer attendees a chance to give back to the community. Those attending are encouraged to bring a new or like-new coat for the Veterans Coat Drive, helping to support those who have served our country. Car show registration and general admission tickets are available on the Lions Automobilia website.

Lions Automobilia Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony – November 14, 2024
Celebrate the third annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony with the Lions Automobilia Foundation Board of Directors, hosted by 2012 NHRA Funny Car world champion Jack Beckman. This year, eight motorsports legends, including JC Agajanian, Jack Chrisman, Steve Gibbs, Dan Gurney, Parnelli Jones, Wally Parks, Carroll Shelby, and Bill Stroppe, will be honored for their contributions to the automotive industry. The event will feature a silent auction and dinner, with all proceeds benefiting the Foundation’s initiatives.

Looking Ahead to 2025
The excitement continues into the new year with the 3 Museums Couple Cruise on February 15, 2025. This unique experience invites couples to participate in a scenic cruise from Orange County to Los Angeles, beginning with coffee and donuts at the Segerstrom Shelby Event Center, followed by a visit to Hillbank Motor Corporation. The cruise will culminate with a lunch stop and tour at the Lions Automobilia Foundation and Museum in Rancho Dominguez.

Founded in 2019 by Rick Lorenzen, the Lions Automobilia Foundation and Museum offers nearly 100,000 square feet of exhibits, featuring Southern California’s iconic car culture, motorsports history, and the largest collection of Willys cars and trucks in North America. The Foundation welcomes donations, which support its operations, youth and career path programs, and specific project builds.
