JoJo Maman Bébé poaches FatFace COO as interim CEO
Maternity, baby and childrenswear retailer JoJo Maman Bébé has appointed former FatFace Chief Operating Officer, Mark Wright, as interim Chief Executive Officer.
Wright left FatFace last week after five and a half years and will start his new role at the end of October.
It comes as current JoJo Maman Bébé CEO, Gwynn Milligan, steps down after seven and a half years at the company – the first five years of which were as Commercial Director.
On signing off from his role as COO of FatFace, Wright posted a message on LinkedIn last week which read:
“After 5.5 fantastic years, the sun is now setting on my time here at FatFace and it’s my turn to bid farewell.
“Last month, we successfully transitioned several core business operations to NEXT Total Platform and this week I will make my final drive down to Havant.
“There have been plenty of ‘trophy moments’ to celebrate and I feel privileged to have worked for this brand and I am very proud of the small part I have played in this chapter at FatFace.”
Wright also said that he had planned to take a break but he would now be starting a new role – not revealed at the time – at the end of the month. It’s now clear what that new role is.
